Smart Pouch

The Smart Pouch is a foldable faraday cage for your smartphone and credit cards (and passport when travelling) that secures the privacy of your personal and banking data whilst protecting your body from the adverse effects from your phone's EMFs. Designed for smartphones, bank cards and passports with chip technology, it blocks GPS, Wi-Fi, RFID, NFC, 3G, 4G, 5G, Bluetooth and hackers.

Technical Information and Features
1. Online Pocket

Put the phone in the online pocket and close it with the double-folded Velcro fastener. The six-layer metal mesh of the Faraday pouch inside the pocket now acts as a protective shield between you and your phone.

It protects your body from harmful radiation whilst you carry it around, but you can still receive calls, messages and notifications whilst you are online.

2. Faraday Pouch

Place the phone in the inner faraday pouch and close it with the double-folding velcro fastener. It is now sealed inside a faraday cage.  It prevents all electromagnetic communication with the phone, so stops harmful radiation hitting you thanks to the inner protective layer, which is made of a high-tech mesh material manufactured in Germany. It also stops your phone being hacked or being used to listen into your conversations and tracking your movements. The double folding system and the outer layer make it water repellent.

Place your passport with chip in here too when you're travelling, so your identity cannot be stolen.

3. RFID Pocket

Your money is at risk and can be stolen from your bank account if your chip & PIN credit and debit cards can be scanned, and the necessary data hacked. All it takes is to place a contactless card reader within range of your wallet or purse.

4. Wallet

On the back there is a compartment for cash and coins. It is sealed with a water-resistant zip.

5. Strap

The Smart Pouch comes with an adjustable strap which allows you to carry it safely and securely around your neck, by your side or around your waist.

FAQs:
Q1. What is the difference between the faraday pocket and airplane mode?
A: In airplane mode only the antennae that transmit information are switched off, not those that receive information. GPS is the perfect example, as it constantly receives location information. The faraday pocket ensures that location tracking is stopped and no signals are received and your phone cannot be hacked or used to listen into your conversations.

Q2. What if my phone is turned off?
A: Even if your phone is turned off, some of the underlying technology such as your cameras and microphone remain active. In a BBC interview, Edward Snowden talks about a technology called Dreamy Smurf, which is able to "turn your phone on and off without you knowing"!

Q3. Is smartphone radiation really harmful?
A: All phone settings contain a radiation warning in their legal Terms and Conditions of use, advising you to keep your phone at least 15-25 mm away from your body. The distances varies according to the manufacturer. The minimum distance of 15 mm may seem insignificant, but it makes a big difference because the radiation influence increases exponentially as the phone gets closer your body. Exposure accumulates as you carry your phone around for long periods of time, even if not in use There are many consistent research studies carried out by independent scientists that prove the harmful effects of long-term exposure to smartphone radiation.  Even if you adhere to this warning during calls, it is impossible to maintain this distance if you carry your phone around on you.
